MEXICO PORTFOLIO
Click here to access the various portfolios of photographs taken while I lived and worked in Mexico from 1993 - 2001. I came from a tradition and love of documentary photography, having been greatly influenced by Dorothea Lange, Diane Arbus and Ansel Adams. My first assignment in Mexico was for Business Mexico, and the first time I started working with color photography. At the same time, I was being exposed to Mexican photographers whose work spoke to me deeply, and I began a long journey of exploring my voice as a photographer, experimenting with new ways of speaking. In addition to my photojournalism work, you can see samples of my more personal images. I continue the process of digitizing my work as I only began working with a digital camera two years ago.
